Iam a Technical Architect for AT&T and the owner/operator of the technology company ezNet Solutions, LLC.  I have worked in the technology field for almost 30 years and have been involved with the Internet since its infancy.

This is my personal blog. It is focused on “effective use of technology.” My philosophy is that to operate efficiently in today's society you must be able to utilize technology effectively.

I write on technology, productivity, social media, and, on occasion, stuff that doesn’t fit well into any of these categories. I also occasionally write about new resources as I discover them.

My goal is to produce clear and relevant content that is useful in your personal and professional life. If you use a computer, smartphone, or tablet and desire to become more proficient—then this blog is for you.

I strive to post around three times a week. To make sure you don’t miss my newest posts, you can subscribe via RSS or e-mail. I also accept a limited amount of advertising.

I have worked in the technology industry for my entire career. I began at AT&T following my graduation from the University of Alabama. I have worked at AT&T for almost 25 years. In addition, I also started a web development company, Infomedia, with several other guys back in the mid 90s while taking several years off from my AT&T work.

As a result of my continuing love for technology, I started another company in 2000, ezNet Solutions and continue to operate it today. The  focus of this company is multifaceted operating in the areas of Apple training and coaching, video production, and technology consulting.

I have been married to my wife, Leila, for twenty-eight years. We have two daughters, and live outside of Birmingham, Alabama.

In my free time, I enjoy learning, running, golfing, and Fox News. I am a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL , where I have served as a deacon and more recently as an elder for close to twenty years.  I also serve on the board of directors for Briarwood Christian School of which I was a graduate in 1979. Another great love of mine is helping lead and direct school missions trips to Central America.
